Today, an empty chair spoke volumes.

Some voices leave an imprint on a profession that will never fade.

Robin Cogan was more than an accomplished school nurse. Through The Relentless School Nurse, her writing, teaching, advocacy, and mentorship, she challenged us to think bigger, advocate louder, and never lose sight of the students at the heart of our work.

While we mourn Robin's passing, her presence was deeply felt throughout NASN2026: in the conversations she inspired, the lives she touched, and the commitment we all share to advancing school nursing.

Her passion, courage, and unwavering dedication continue to inspire school nurses across the country, and her legacy will live on through the countless professionals she encouraged to lead with compassion, purpose, and resilience.

Thank you, Robin. Your voice, your vision, and your impact will never be forgotten.
