¡Hola a todos!
We would like to invite you to People of the Corn, a special event with the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) and Artes de Mexico tomorrow Wednesday March 30th from 3-4pm in CTIHB 143! Come learn about the cultural legacy of native foods and enjoy free Tamales and refreshments!
This interactive workshop will explore the connections between the land and the cultural identity of the indigenous people of Mexico. We will learn about the historic concept of the “Milpa”, a unique planting ecosystem that not only nourishes the land, but also the culture and the identity of the people that grow it. Come for a great time and great food!
