ans that not everyone needs counseling, but everyone can benefit from coaching. My one to one Breakthrough Coaching Program is tailored to each individual client. We aren't gingerbread people, and so I don't think a coaching program can be from a cookie cutter. There is some structure, as many of the issues my clients are addressing are part of the common human experience. And the highly organic nature of my program creates space for the uniqueness of every client. Since I am a mature and devout Christ follower, I come from a sound Christian mindset and use time-tested Biblical principles in my approach. My faith is unapologetic. Jesus is invited to, present, and relied upon in every session (and between sessions, as I pray for my clients' breakthroughs). Currently, I have a 3-month Breakthrough Program for women which is conducted remotely through Zoom. During our 12 weeks together, my clients and I have 10 live sessions that typically run 60-90 minutes. The other 2 weeks are breaks providing clients greater opportunity to "walk out" the principles discussed in the live sessions, practice using the tools they have created, and build confidence in the process. I call these Valiant Warrior Weeks because that is how God sees us. The other reason for the break is to confirm to my clients that they can do this after they complete their program. I'm not their god or guru, and I am committed to their dependence upon Jesus rather than me or any other person. In addition to all this, there are appropriate between-sessions assignments. Nothing too outrageous, though. No dissertations, theses, or readings of War and Peace! Some of these strategies I encourage my clients to continue post-coaching because they are effective, grounding, and help to keep focus where it best kept. I am here to offer what I have: my pain, my past, my training, my experience, and the gifts God has given me to use while on this earth. He is the one who multiplies these in order to bind up broken hearts, bring liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoners. God has not called us to be victims of our afflictions, but to be strengthened by them and live as oaks of righteousness for His glory. He did it for me. He's done it for others.
