🎃Parts of a Pumpkin Craft. We painted the paper plates last week or so mixing red and yellow to get orange. Then today we added the parts using paper and actual pumpkin parts from our Volcano’s yesterday. Yes Rosie the bag represents the flesh. Such an amazing hands on idea. 🎃

🎃6 more days until Halloween and our theme this week was Pumpkin’s. The girls learned the Life Cycle, the Parts and have done many Pumpkin experiments. Today was Pumpkin Volcano Eruption Day. As you can see they had a blast.🎃

🍁🍂🍁Fall Fun on Friday. The girls created fall leaf pictures with q-tips and chose to make sensory bottles with the left over leaves and natural nature objects from their hunt yesterday. For fun we added gold glitter, fall leave sequins and plastic fall leaves. Sensory bottles are known for younger children but the girls expressed “the bottles help keep people calm” I could not agree more kiddos. 🍂🍁🍂

🍁🍂🪨The weather is changing. That’s right this week’s theme is Fall/Leaves. Today we read a book called We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt. We then went on a hunt of our own and found leaves and natural objects in nature like twigs and rocks. We will use these to create fall projects the rest the week.🍂🍁🪨

👩🏽‍🌾Finished the Farm theme on Fun Friday with the story Mrs. Wishy Washy’s Farm, some farm animal washing and letter Ff farm animal collage art. 🐷🐮🦆

It’s been sort of a different week.. Nonetheless the theme and letter is “F is for Farm” Today the girls built their own barns with popsicle sticks. They took the time to gather their thoughts and build the foundation before gluing it to the red paper and adding details
