The first day of school is August 10th. Please review the calendar, plan vacations around scheduled breaks, and help us make every school day count by avoiding unnecessary absences.

Our high school trip to New York was an amazing experience! 🗽✨ Our students had an absolute blast exploring the city, discovering new places, and taking in everything the Big Apple has to offer.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Mr. Winer for coordinating this incredible trip and to Mr. Durieux for helping ensure our students stayed safe throughout the journey. Opportunities like these create lasting memories and meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom, and we’re grateful to provide them for our students.

On the last day of school, we celebrated Mr. Kevin Resendiz, the first graduate in CIVICA Academy history! 🎓

Kevin completed all graduation requirements a full year early and was honored with a scholarship from Mr. Santigate to support his college journey. We are incredibly proud of Kevin and can’t wait to see all he accomplishes next!

Be sure to tune in until the end to catch a glimpse of our very first senior class—we can’t believe they’re seniors already, and we can’t wait for all that lies ahead! 💙

Happy Birthday to our amazing leader and principal, Richard “RJ” Santigate! 🎉 Thank you for pouring your heart into CIVICA and building a PreK-12th school culture centered around preparing students for life beyond the classroom. Your leadership and all around impact can be felt in every grade level, from our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, always making sure every student feels seen, supported, and encouraged to succeed.

From the incredible staff and student culture to the growth of our programs, academics, and campus, your vision continues to shape CIVICA into something truly special. 💛 Monday Spirit Day�In honor of Kamilah’s birthday, students and staff may wear their Kamilah shirts or gold in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness 🎗️

🎉 Free Dress Week Reminder 🎉
As we head into the last week of school, students may enjoy free dress while still following all school expectations. Clothing must be appropriate for school—no ripped jeans, no inappropriate language or images, and no yoga pants. Shorts must be fingertip length or longer. Sandals and Crocs are allowed. Thank you for helping us finish the year strong and keeping our campus respectful and safe! 💛📚

🎓 Graduations This Week�We are celebrating Kindergarten, 5th Grade, and 8th Grade graduations—big milestones for our students! 🎉

📝 Finals Week�Middle school & high school students will follow a half-day schedule Tuesday–Friday.

🧡 Modified CubCare�Available for Middle school & high school students staying on campus until younger siblings are released at 3:00 PM. (If you have not signed up please see the front office for additional information)

📅 Friday (Last Day of School)�All K–11 students will have a half-day as we wrap up an amazing year!
