When people see me they see someone who drifts through life with a smile on. “Everything is always working out for Dugan!” Well, don’t let someone else’s mask fool you... most of my life up until recently, I’ve lived in pain, holding on tight to my suffering, and fighting for the narrative in my head of how things “should be.”
Well, that’s not what it’s all about... you are not alone. There’s so many people right now who are going through really heavy life challenges, and you would never know about it bc they feel like it’s their burden to carry. Maybe this is you? It has definitely been myself many times in my life.
Let me tell you, self-love, self-acceptance, and freedom are your natural set point. It’s available whenever we decide to let go of the illusion that we have created for ourselves. Remember the simple truth that you were meant to be seen... you were meant to be heard... and you were meant to be loved... It all starts with looking in the mirror and being the first to embody that...
You’re not alone, I believe in you, you got this, and I love you...
