Check out our 4th entry "Drones & Weaponized Cats Vs The Gate" for the new "Access Logs" series at Covert Instruments!
Here, Tim Roberts and I (Brent White) discuss our covert entry techniques to compromise a government facility in multiple ways (all now fixed).
"A government facility with armed guards, steel gates, and badge-controlled access looked like it had all the right pieces in place. But a small drone, a hand warmer, and a ..."

Access Logs 004: Drones & Weaponized Cats vs The Gate
"There were gaps in their security, literal gaps." Sizing Up the Target We arrived on site just before the end of business day, pulling into the surrounding area like we had done countless times before. This target was a government facility, the kind that tries very hard to look like a city-fortress...

"It wasn't a break-in. It was a walk-in." 😎
Dark Wolf Pack members, Brent White and Tim Roberts detail a mission involving hotel social engineering, "parkour," and a can of compressed air. If you think your perimeter starts at the badge reader, think again.

Access Log 001: The Rooftop
"This wasn't just a break-in, it was a walk-in. The facility's perimeter didn't start at the badge reader. It started on the sidewalk outside, at the roofline, and in the areas no one was watching anymore." Now, gather 'round children, for it is story time. Assessment Background There are a lot of r...

During covert entry assessments, how do you respond when someone asks you questions, or you need them to do something for you? What about when they are challenging your credibility?
If you're coming to , attend our 2 hour workshop in the Physical Bypass Village on Saturday at 11am to learn valuable social engineering techniques that we use during our covert entry assessments when face-to-face interactions are unavoidable.

Video of a "quick change" performed during a covert entry assessment to avoid detection during the reconnaissance phase.
Two individuals began approaching our surveillance position, so out of caution, we made our way to this area where I quickly changed my appearance. I was the only one visible. Tim Roberts, Davis Blackwell and I then circled back, with the ability to walk right by the two that were initially heading our way, undetected.
Disguises and quick changes that are most useful during covert entry and social engineering assessments do not need to be to the Hollywood level you see in movies. They can be superficial, yet must be believable. These changes often need to happen in public places with less cover than what I had here, so it's not uncommon to stuff things in backs, reverse them, etc.
