Hosted our 2nd annual Girl Powered event at Pinball Hall of Fame today. 6 schools were represented! Thank you coaches for supporting this meet up and to Coach Higgs for heading the scavenger hunt. Great way to end Women’s History Month.

I received a negative message on my last post. I decided to address it in this post. It’s a little long, I hope you read it all.

A shoutout to our girl robotics members. They all play pivotal roles on their teams. From captains, designers, builders, data collectors, and drivers they are the heart of Walker robotics. Proud to celebrate them today on International Women’s Day

Thank you for your continued support of teachers in Henderson and of Walker Elementary. We appreciate all you do for our community.

That’s a wrap for Mix n Match season. Official clean up and signing day today. So proud of our teams and all their hard work.

Wow! What a day all teams earned awards at State yesterday. They were recognized for their detailed engineering notebooks, judged interviews, student center work, and overall teamwork during the competition. I also had the honor of being named as the Teacher of the Year. Walker was the only school to have all teams qualify for state and the only school to bring home awards for all teams. Thank you coach Higgs for all your help this year, there is no way we could have 3 teams without you!
