I was asked recently how I felt about the children returning to school :

Face-to-face is truly the best form of education…. Give them wipes to wipe their desk off before they sit down and keep your mask on…. as a teacher I’m taking measures to keep me students as safe as possible like staying in the same seat around the same people, group work online only…. I am vaccinated but I still wear my mask everywhere!

After 16 years of teaching to be recognized and invited to speak in my home state is such a honor and privilege.
