I have been an aspiring author since I read my first book. In my mind I would think of alternative endings for the stories. In my teens I began creating character reference 3x5 cards detailing the characters for a story I was writing.
Then one evening my parents house burned to the ground. I added that to the list of why I can't be an author.
I joined Authors and Aspiring Authors Toastmasters Club and began learning about self publishing. The published authors shared details they learned by publishing their books.
I am gaining inspiration from the group to start writing again.
Join us on Fridays at 6pm Pacific time. We meet on Zoom; join us without leaving the comfort of your home. Message me for the zoom link.

Toastmasters is a non profit corporation Empowering members communications skills.
This Toastmasters Club is dedicated to Toastmasters Members who are published authors or members who aspire to become a published author.
As a member of Authors and Aspiring Authors Toastmasters I have learned a lot about editing, creating the copyright page, self publishing and at reading sessions other members can provide helpful suggestions to improve your story.
Several published authors are among our members. One member recently published her second book. She has great tips for marketing also.
We are a Toastmasters club.

Members are becoming published authors. Self publishing is easy.
I have been spending time in a luxury spa, enjoying many attendants serving my needs.
Centennial Hills Medical Center and a rehab center in Las Vegas provided excellent care in my recovery from COVID.
I'm sorry to have missed so many meetings. I have been stock piling new stories. Stories of hospitals, respirators and being in bed for 21 days. I don't think I ate food that whole time. I lost 50 pounds. I'll call it the Covid Diet.
The good news is I'm doing well at the rehab center.
I hope to see you in the new year!
Gene
