As the Dragon Board's Oath says:
My role as a storyteller is to transport my audience from the comfort and safety of wherever they are, place them into uncomfortable and perilous situations where I force them into to confront and grapple with subjects that push them out of their comfort zone, so that, hopefully, they may emerge from my narratives a better human being.

Now, let's go on an adventure!

If you're looking for something to do tomorrow, Sunday the 18th from 10am to noon PST, I'm holding an online writing workshop in my Writer's Room. https://writersroom.mn.co

(My last post was incorrect. For whatever reason I thought this was scheduled for the 17th. It isn't.)

The Workshop is on "Starting Your Novel". I'll be giving a short lesson filled with tips and tricks on how to create a captivating opening to your novel. You'll then be given a writing assignment that you will work on for about 45 minutes. We will then dive into what people wrote and look at some things that worked, ferret out things that could be improved, and just learn a ton of things.

You can purchase the workshop separately for $29.99, or you get it if you join the paid area. Normally, the price is $97 a month. But as a startup special, we are offering 50% off for life for the first 250 members, which means you get everything the site has to offer for just $49 a month. Check out the site for full details on everything that's included with the membership.

Hope to see you there.
