Dear TRIO Upward Bound Alumni,
We are excited to invite you to our TRIO Upward Bound Alumni Day on Saturday, December 6th! This event is a wonderful opportunity for you to reconnect with the TRIO family and make a meaningful impact by sharing your college experiences with our current TRIO Scholars.
Event Details:
Alumni Panel Discussion: 12:45 PM - 2:00 PM
Optional Lunch: 11:10 AM - 11:45 AM
We’d love for you to come and talk about your college journey, and the lessons you’ve learned, and dispel common myths about college life. Share advice on what you might have done differently and provide our students with the “real deal” to help them navigate a smoother transition into college.

Your experiences and insights are invaluable to our current Scholars, and we’d be honored to have you back to inspire and guide them on their journeys. All alumni are invited. We need help to make sure there is funding to operate our programs this summer and beyond. Make sure that adults with or with children in TRIO get this link. As of mid-May, the U.S. Department of Education has not issued the funds to support TRIO Upward Bound projects that launch on June 1, 2025. It is critical that every impacted parent and child reach out to their U.S. House Representative and U.S. Senator to tell them to get the Department to release....
