Some things need more than a moment. They need a voice.
At Ribbon, we believe creating meaningful change requires more than recognizing an issue. It requires listening to the people living it, valuing lived experience, and creating space for voices that too often go unheard.
Sheroic Speaks is one of the spaces where Black women can share those experiences, challenge the conversation, and speak openly about the things affecting our lives and communities.

Happy 14th Anniversary, Ribbon
Today, we celebrate 14 years of purpose, perseverance, leadership, and impact.
Since August 4, 2012, Ribbon has remained committed to centering the dignity, lived experience, leadership, and brilliance of people living with HIV, especially Black women, long-term survivors, peer professionals, and communities too often pushed to the margins.
What began as a vision has grown into a strong foundation for leadership development, advocacy, storytelling, healing, workforce development, education, and systems change.
We are grateful for every partner, funder, staff member, consultant, peer navigator, advocate, board member, volunteer, and community member who has helped carry this work forward.
Fourteen years later, Ribbon is still here.
Still learning.
Still building.
Still leading.
Happy 14th Anniversary to our Founding Executive Directors, Dr. Linda H. Scruggs and Vanessa Johnson, and to the entire Ribbon community.
Moving Forward. Stronger. Together.
