Interest-based tutoring is the perfect way to combine children's interests with academic skills.
This student wanted to learn more about WWll fighter planes and then came up with a project to showcase his learning.

In our homeschool Games Around The World Class, we learned about the history of a game from France, called Bilbouquet. Then, we made our own and practiced hand/eye coordination. We also tried various challenges and adaptations. So much fun with a 600 year old game.

Today we incorporated Science (the S in STEM) into our class at the park. We read "Look What I Did With a Leaf!" Then, we took a nature walk and recorded observations. Finally, we collected items we found and made beautiful creations. We also returned it all back to nature. 😊
How do I get more people to follow me? I see lots of fabulous homeschool groups, but I can't self-promote. So, I am asking for real business advice. 😊

Yesterday was Design Your Own Dinosaur Day! The children made dinosaurs out of clay and came up with creative ideas for their names, what they ate, and their favorite things to do!

The Paleontologists in this homeschool class are hard at work putting their dinosaur skeletons back together together so they can discover what type of dinosaur it is. 😊

In my Games Around the World Class, we learned about a game families play together in Italy--Le Lotto! We located Italy on the map, and made our own lotto boards learning to count from 1 to 10 in Italian.
We had a blast playing Le Lotto!
