Interest-based tutoring is the perfect way to combine children's interests with academic skills.
This student wanted to learn more about WWll fighter planes and then came up with a project to showcase his learning.
Self-motivated learners are always excited for our sessions together.

As we enter into Teacher Appreciation Week (TAW), I want to express my true gratitude in living the dream of having my own education business--Love 2 Learn 2 Day, LLC
When I was in the public school system, TAW felt forced and contrived. Alternatively, with my business, I get positive appreciation year-round from all of the wonderful students and families I work with. There is no "week" because it is just an every day occurrence... In our homeschool Games Around The World Class, we learned about the history of a game from France, called Bilbouquet. Then, we made our own and practiced hand/eye coordination. We also tried various challenges and adaptations. So much fun with a 600 year old game.

Today we incorporated Science (the S in STEM) into our class at the park. We read "Look What I Did With a Leaf!" Then, we took a nature walk and recorded observations. Finally, we collected items we found and made beautiful creations. We also returned it all back to nature. 😊

Yesterday was Design Your Own Dinosaur Day! The children made dinosaurs out of clay and came up with creative ideas for their names, what they ate, and their favorite things to do!
I love teaching homeschool classes!

The Paleontologists in this homeschool class are hard at work putting their dinosaur skeletons back together together so they can discover what type of dinosaur it is. 😊

In my Games Around the World Class, we learned about a game families play together in Italy--Le Lotto! We located Italy on the map, and made our own lotto boards learning to count from 1 to 10 in Italian.
We had a blast playing Le Lotto!
