We are incredibly proud of all of our cadets who dedicated part of their summer to showing up, putting in the work, and preparing for another successful Raiders season. Your commitment and determination during summer practices have set the tone for what’s ahead, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort each of you has shown.
Think you have what it takes to join the team? Raiders tryouts will take place during the first week of school, where the fastest 12 cadets on the 5K run will earn a spot on this year’s Raiders team.
We took home a national trophy last year, let’s be prepared to do it again!

A new year brings new leadership! Bravo Zulu to all of the cadets chosen for staff as you have all shown immense potential for leadership and dedication to service and volunteering.
Further congratulations to our newly appointed Platoon Commanders for the 2026/2027 school year! These cadets put in the work and we are excited for them all to lead our company into another stellar year.

During our JLAB trip to Washington, D.C., our Academic Team had the incredible opportunity to visit the United States Coast Guard Headquarters!
Throughout the tour, cadets gained valuable insight into the many departments, missions, and careers that keep the Coast Guard operating every day. They also had the chance to meet numerous knowledgeable and welcoming Coast Guard servicemen and women who shared their experiences and advice.
One of the highlights of the visit was meeting Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Phil Waldron. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on our cadets, and he graciously presented each member of the team with one of his personal challenge coins.
Thank you to everyone at Coast Guard Headquarters for an unforgettable experience and for inspiring the next generation of leaders and service members!

This past weekend from June 12th to the 16th, our Coast Guard JROTC Academic Team traveled to Washington, D.C. to compete at the JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl (JLAB) National Championship. While we didn’t bring home the national title this year, our cadets represented our company with integrity and sportsmanship every step of the way.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work, preparation, and competitive spirit our team displayed throughout the competition.
This experience has given our cadets valuable knowledge and motivation for the future. With another year of preparation and experience under our belts, we’ll be ready to compete for a national championship next year.
Congratulations to Saraland Highschool for winning the Coast Guard Academic Championship and representing what it means to be a Coast Guard JROTC Cadet!

Bravo Zulu to all of our Raiders, old and new, for showing up and completing our first summer practice on June 10th! Yesterday was just the beginning of the dedication and teamwork that will define the months ahead, and every challenge we face this summer is another step toward our goal of bringing home another National Championship next year!
Another special shoutout to our all-new female team! We are incredibly proud to see these cadets stepping up and breaking barriers to build a strong foundation for what will be an even stronger season.
Stay focused, stay motivated, and push yourself and each other to be better everyday. Put in the work, and you will succeed!

Goodbye, Class of 2026. All of your hard work, dedication, and commitment to your craft has finally paid off. Over the years, you have shown leadership, perseverance, and determination through every challenge, event, and achievement. Each of you has left a lasting impact on our program, and it has truly been an honor to watch you grow into the people and leaders you are today.

The memories, accomplishments, and traditions you helped create will continue to inspire future cadets for years to come. Whether it was through teamwork, mentorship, competitions, or simply the everyday moments spent together, you have all contributed something meaningful to this program and to one another.

As you move on to the next chapter of your lives, we hope you carry the lessons, friendships, and experiences you gained here with you wherever you go. No matter what path you choose, we know you are capable of doing amazing things and making a difference in the world around you.

Thank you for everything you have given to this program. We are proud of every single one of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds. Congratulations, Class of 2026, and good luck on the journey ahead.
