Laredo College Performing Arts The Performing Arts at Laredo College encompasses the disciplines of music, dance and drama.

The Performing Arts Department at LCC encompasses the disciplines of music, dance and drama. Our goal is to prepare students to transfer with a field of study and performance experience which will allow them to pursue their degrees at four-year institutions across Texas and the United States. We are also committed to the enrichment of the cultural offerings within the city of Laredo by presenting

many cultural events, concerts, master classes and clinics by world renowned faculty, students, and guest artists.

Starting next Tuesday and running through Saturday is FlamencoFest at Laredo College. The concerts are easily found on the website, but I wanted to point out that there are workshops in flamenco singing and guitar playing by Vicente Griego (11:15 - 12:15) and Mario Febres (10:00 - 11:00) Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and many on dancing as well.
