Early Closure Notice – Downtown Municipal Buildings

In preparation for the IBC Youth Parade Under the Stars, several downtown City of Laredo offices will close early on Thursday, February 19 at 4:00 p.m. Regular hours will resume Friday, February 20.

The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Laredo.

🚍 El Metro will implement temporary reroutes beginning at 3:00 p.m.
⚠️ Please note: The parade route has changed this year and will turn onto Houston St. instead of Victoria St.
🚗 Motorists are advised to use caution—vehicles parked along the route and emergency exits will be towed.

We appreciate the community’s cooperation as we prepare for this cherished annual tradition.
