Remember that you are not responsible for how others choose to see you. It is okay to protect your energy while you heal and regain your strength. True friends will honor your need for rest and recovery rather than expect you to carry their burdens at the expense of your own well-being. The people who genuinely care for you will offer compassion when you are hurting and support you as you rise again. Your first responsibility is to care for yourself and for those entrusted to your love and protection. In doing so, you create the strength and peace needed to move forward with confidence.
