Sick Day or School Day? Here’s How to Decide! 🏫

Keeping our CPC community healthy takes all of us! As a general rule, keep your student home if they have a fever of 100.4°F or higher, have vomited or had diarrhea in the last 24 hours, or have a persistent, severe cough. They are usually clear to attend school if they only have a mild runny nose, a slight cough without a fever, or if they have been completely fever-free for 24 hours without medication.

If your student is too sick to join us, just remember to call the CPC office to report any absences at 517.483.9966. Thanks for helping keep our classrooms healthy! 💙

Great news, Potterville High School CPC students! 🎉

Thank you for adapting to the construction at Potterville High School this week. Effective Monday, August 31, construction will be complete, and all student pick-up and drop-off will return directly to the high school!

Please review the parking map to see the new, separate bus loop and student parking areas.

‼️Important for students: For the next week, please park ONLY in the center of the student parking lot to allow crews to finish work on the edges. From there, you will walk toward the bus loop near the elementary school.

This will be the pick-up and drop-off location for CPC students until further notice.

The Sky Lab Mobile Learning Adventure is bringing the excitement of aviation directly to students, giving early learners the chance to explore the world of flight through an immersive, hands-on experience.

Making the experience even more meaningful, students from the Eaton RESA Aviation Careers Program joined the journey to share their passion for aviation, answer questions and inspire the next generation of pilots, mechanics, engineers and aviation professionals.

Sometimes all it takes is one experience to spark a lifelong passion. ✈️✨

We are incredibly grateful to the Grand Ledge Lions Club, Grand Ledge Family Dentistry, and Elliott’s Grandma Terry for their generous donations. Because of your support, two of our Law Enforcement students (Elliott Bouck and Micah Galliver) are heading to the SkillsUSA Washington Leadership Training Institute this September! 💪

This trip is a huge opportunity for our students to develop leadership skills and represent our CTE programs on a national stage. We couldn’t do it without neighbors like you. Thank you for investing in the future of our students!

👏 Celebrating student achievement at the 2026 Awards Night!

More than 200 students were recognized for their exemplary efforts in their CPC programs, and CRTEC students were honored for completing their programs while earning an associate degree or industry credential.

Maple Valley Schools students recently stepped into the real world of business through the Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes BizTown experience! After participating in classroom instruction beforehand, students had the opportunity to apply what they learned in a hands-on environment focused on financial literacy, teamwork, leadership, and career exploration.

Experiences like JA BizTown are so important because they give students exposure to opportunities and career pathways they may not otherwise experience at a young age—helping them build confidence and connections between the classroom and the real world. ✨
