The AIS Heavy Construction Equipment Technology Program is a two year, hands on training program held in Lansing at the AIS Training Center. Throughout the program, students develop the skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, power trains, and more. Students also gain valuable real world experience due to the program being two days a week, this allows students to both work and attend classes.

Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! We are proud of everything you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make here at AIS. Here’s to a bright future! 🛠️🥳⚙️

How to Identify Heat Exhaustion & Heat Stroke☀️:

*beware if the following are not symptoms you usually experience or if you experience more than one at the same time*

Heat Exhaustion (comes first)

•Excessive sweating
•Cool, pale or clammy skin
•Dizziness
•Headache
•Nausea
•Muscle Cramps

Heat Stroke (when heat exhaustion escalates)

•Confusion or slurred speech
•If sweating stops entirely
•Rapid uncontrollable breathing
•Fainting

The STEP cadets and instructor took on a dodgeball tournament at the Lake Odessa Fairgrounds. The courts were filled with lots of laughter and fun.
