🚨Ever know something is off in an IEP... but struggle to explain what should change?

No amount of passive learning can solve that problem.

You need hands-on experience identifying gaps and turning them into recommendations that help the student thrive.

That is the kind of hands-on work we do inside CDIS.

💬If you want to walk into your next IEP meeting feeling more prepared to recommend meaningful changes, comment CDIS, and we’ll send you more information about the program.

🚨 An IEP can look complete and still miss what the student actually needs.

That is the problem with an IEP that checks all the boxes but does not tell one clear, connected story.

You should be able to look at the plan and understand what the student needs, what is being done about it, and how you will know if it is working.

If you cannot, something deserves a closer look.

💬 If you want to learn how to build and review IEPs that actually make these connections, comment CDIS, and we’ll send you more information about the program.

🚨 If the IEP goals don’t match the data... the IEP is broken.

CDIS will teach you how to spot what’s missing so your dyslexic learner doesn’t go another school year without the services they need to thrive.

🚨 You can have an evaluation full of important information, but what good does it do you if it isn’t really being used to drive decisions about a child’s goals, services, and accommodations?

We have helped countless IEP teams go through IEP’s with a fine-tooth comb.

☑️ Picking out patterns

☑️ Noting clinical observations

☑️ Highlighting professional recommendations

Do you want to learn how to do this for your own child or the children you serve?

We’d love to teach you how! Data drives every decision at an IEP meeting, so let’s make sure you know how to interpret data as a Dyslexia IEP Specialist.

🚨 Knowing about dyslexia is not the same as knowing how to build an effective IEP.

The evaluation tells you what’s going on. Now it’s time to connect the data to:

🎯 Measurable goals
📚 Appropriate instruction
🛠️ Meaningful accommodations
📈 Progress monitoring

That connection is where effective dyslexia advocacy happens.

Want to learn how to make those connections?

Our Certified Dyslexia IEP Specialist program teaches you how.

📌 A dyslexia diagnosis does not automatically lead to an IEP.

The diagnosis helps explain what a student has, but the school team still has to understand how dyslexia is affecting the student’s education and what specialized support is needed.

📊 That is where the data matters.

▶️ In this video, Lorraine explains how evaluations, work samples, parent input, and other information help connect a diagnosis to eligibility and meaningful IEP decisions.

Because a diagnosis is only the beginning. Knowing what to do next can change the outcome.

🚨 If information alone could solve IEP problems, Google would have fixed special education by now.

You can read the books, attend the webinars, and open more browser tabs than you can count, but still feel unsure how to support your dyslexic learner.

Collecting information is not the same as knowing how to use it.

▶️ In this video, Melissa explains why you need more than disconnected facts. You need a repeatable process to put the pieces together and determine the best next steps.

That is what participants learn and practice in the Certified Dyslexia IEP Specialist (CDIS) program. If this kind of training would help you better support a student with dyslexia.
