North Montco Technical Career Center is excited to welcome Dr. Darin Van Norman as our new Administrative Director following the retirement of Dr. Beth Ann Haas.
Dr. Van Norman brings more than 25 years of experience in education and leadership, including 19 years at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, where he served in both teaching and administrative roles. Throughout his career, he has supported students in a variety of educational settings, including special education, science education, and alternative education programs.
In addition to his experience in education, Dr. Van Norman has a background in carpentry and electrical work, which helped spark his passion for career and technical education (CTE). He is a strong advocate for the opportunities CTE provides students and the positive impact it has on communities.

A huge congratulations to our member Colin McGlynn after achieving his Firefighter 1 certification at the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety fire academy.

Colin not only completed his Firefighter 1 certification, but also achieving his National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician all within 1 year!
