🌙 Muḥarram 1448 AH is here. One of the most beautiful ways to begin the new year is through fasting and drawing closer to Allāh ﷻ.

✨ ʿĀshūrāʾ (10th Muḥarram): A fast that expiates the sins of the previous year.
✨ The White Days (13th, 14th, and 15th): Like fasting throughout the year.
✨ Mondays and Thursdays: Days on which our deeds are presented to Allāh.

Muḥarram is the month of Allāh, and among its greatest gifts is the opportunity to renew our relationship with Him through increased worship, repentance, gratitude, and hope.

📅 Save this schedule, mark your calendars, and share the khayr with family and friends. A simple reminder may help someone earn the reward of a fast, and the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

May Allāh ﷻ accept our fasting, forgive our sins, and make 1448 AH a year of īmān, ʿāfiyah, barakah, relief, and nearness to Him, āmīn.

What better way to welcome 1448 AH than with Qurʾān, dhikr, duʿāʾ, and abundant ṣalawāt upon the Prophet ﷺ?

Join us for a special Circles of Sakīnah gathering on the first blessed night of Jumuʿah as we welcome the New Islamic Year together.

Let us begin the year with hearts turned toward Allāh ﷻ, tongues moist with His remembrance, and souls seeking His mercy and guidance.

Together, we will spend the evening in:
📖 Recitation of the Qurʾān
🤍 Dhikr
🌹 Abundant ṣalawāt upon the Prophet ﷺ
🤲 Duʿāʾ for a year of barakah, ʿāfiyah, guidance, and relief
✨ Reflection and intentions for the year ahead

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ said: “No people gather together remembering Allāh except that the angels surround them, mercy envelops them, sakīnah descends upon them, and Allāh mentions them among those who are with Him.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

May Allāh ﷻ make 1448 AH a year filled with faith, barakah, healing, and closeness to Him.

🌙 As we welcome the new Hijrī year and the blessed month of Muḥarram, let us begin with the beautiful duʿāʾ taught to us by our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ upon sighting the new moon.

A new moon is more than the beginning of a month. It is a reminder that Allāh ﷻ grants us another opportunity to return to Him, renew our intentions, seek His forgiveness, and strive to become better than we were yesterday.

May Allāh ﷻ allow this month to come upon us with īmān, safety, peace, barakah, and success in all that He loves and is pleased with. May He forgive our shortcomings, heal our hearts, guide our steps, and make this new Hijrī year a year of growth, gratitude, and closeness to Him.

Wishing you all a Blessed New Hijrī Year from our family at Guided Hearts Institute to yours. As we welcome 1448 AH, we are reminded that a new year is not only a change in date, but an invitation to renew our intentions, return to Allāh ﷻ, and realign our hearts with the beautiful example of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
May this year be one in which we nurture our hearts, care for our minds, choose kindness, strengthen our īmān, repair our relationships, and live with iḥsān. May Allāh ﷻ forgive what has passed, accept what was sincere, heal what still hurts, and place barakah in what is to come. May He make this year a year of guidance, gratitude, beneficial knowledge, righteous companionship, emotional healing, spiritual growth, and hearts that remain firmly connected to Him. And may Allāh ﷻ grant relief, protection, healing, and victory to our brothers and sisters who are suffering around the world, and shower this Ummah with His mercy, safety, and barakah.

DFW Sisters, Join Us on the First Night of Jumuʿah of the New Hijrī Year! As we enter a new Hijrī year, join us for a beautiful evening of Qurʾān, dhikr, ṣalawāt upon the Prophet ﷺ, reflection, and sisterhood.

What better way to begin the year than gathering in the remembrance of Allāh ﷻ on the first night of Jumuʿah?

The Prophet ﷺ said: “No people gather together to remember Allāh except that the angels surround them, mercy envelops them, tranquility (sakīnah) descends upon them, and Allāh mentions them among those who are with Him.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

Whether this past year brought joy or hardship, accomplishments or struggles, come and begin again with Allāh. Bring your hopes, your duʿāʾs, your gratitude, and your heart.

May Allāh ﷻ make this new year a year of guidance, barakah, healing, beneficial knowledge, righteous companionship, and hearts that remain firm upon His remembrance.

As another Hijrī year comes to a close, may Allāh ﷻ forgive our shortcomings, accept our good deeds, mend our hearts, ease our burdens, and bless us with the opportunity to begin again. May He fill the coming year with guidance, barakah, good health, beneficial knowledge, righteous company, and hearts that remain firmly connected to Him. May He transform our regrets into repentance, our struggles into elevation, our losses into reward, and our hopes into reality if they are good for us. May He allow us to enter the new year with renewed faith, gratitude, and hope; with hearts that are more grateful, more content, and more devoted to Him than ever before. And may Allāh ﷻ grant relief, protection, healing, and victory to our brothers and sisters who are suffering around the world, and shower this Ummah with His mercy, protection, and barakah, āmīn.

Men’s mental health deserves more compassion, more understanding, and more honest conversations. Our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ taught us to turn to Allāh ﷻ, seek support, and care for the trust He has placed within us. May Allāh ﷻ grant us all shifāʾ and ʿāfiyah, bring ease to every heart that is struggling, replace pain with sakīnah, loneliness with support, and heaviness with hope. May He guide us to seek help without shame, to support one another with mercy, and to care for the trusts He has placed within us, āmīn.

Alḥamdulillāh, last month we had the privilege of hosting a meaningful conversation with Dr. Erum and Ust. Dunia on faith, mental health, and emotional well-being. The reflections and conversations that followed were a beautiful reminder that many of us are carrying burdens that often go unseen.

As we enter a new Hijrī year, many women are navigating exhaustion, overwhelm, burnout, and the challenge of balancing faith, family, work, relationships, and countless responsibilities.

Join us next Saturday for From Burnout to Barakah with Ustādha Dunia Shuaib and Psychiatrist Dr. Kanwal Ahmed as we explore faith-centered approaches to healing, balance, and renewal. Together, we will discuss burnout, stress, overwhelm, and practical ways to nurture ourselves while cultivating greater spiritual, emotional, and psychological well-being.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, emotionally depleted, or simply in need of a reset, we pray this gathering will be a source of benefit, reflection, and encouragement.
