A beautiful month and another opportunity to revive the Sunnah. As we welcome Rabīʿ al-Awwal 1448, may we strive to fill our days with deeds beloved to Allāh ﷻ and follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ.

Among the beautiful voluntary fasts he ﷺ encouraged are Mondays and Thursdays, as well as the White Days (Ayyām al-Bīḍ) the 13th, 14th, and 15th of each lunar month.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Fasting three days of every month is fasting for a lifetime.”
(Sunan al-Nasāʾī)

When the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was asked about fasting on Monday, he said: “That is the day on which I was born, and the day on which revelation was sent down to me.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

Save these dates, share them with someone you love, and make the intention to revive this beautiful Sunnah. May Allāh ﷻ accept from us, grant us sincerity, and make following the Sunnah beloved to our hearts, āmīn 🤲🏼

Tomorrow is Jumuʿah! A gentle reminder to plan ahead so we can begin this blessed day with intention. Among the beautiful opportunities of Friday is praying Fajr in congregation, beginning the day in worship with your community and remembrance of Allāh ﷻ.

May Allāh ﷻ allow us to reach Jumuʿah, fill our Friday with dhikr, Qurʾān, ṣalawāt upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ, duʿāʾ, forgiveness, and barakah, and make us among those who take full advantage of its blessings, āmīn.

This International Friendship Day, take a moment to thank a friend who has supported you, made you feel less alone, or encouraged you toward goodness. May Allāh ﷻ bless us with sincere and loving friendships that bring comfort to our hearts, goodness and healing into our lives, and encouragement on the path to Him. May He ﷻ make us a source of support and goodness for our friends and reunite us as companions in the highest levels of Jannah, āmīn

Alḥamdulillāh, I’m looking forward to spending this weekend with our mothers and daughters, reflecting on how we can nurture a lifelong love for the Qurʾān. In shā’ Allāh, we’ll discuss how to cultivate lasting motivation rooted in sincerity and love of Allāh ﷻ, so that our relationship with the Qurʾān continues long after the journey of ḥifẓ.

I pray Allāh ﷻ places barakah in this workshop, grants our children sincerity and steadfastness, fills our hearts with love for His Book, makes the Qurʾān the spring of our hearts, the light of our chests, and an intercessor for us on the Day of Judgment. May He make us and our families among Ahl al-Qurʾān, the special people of Allāh and those closest to Him, āmīn 🤲🏼

Alḥamdulillāh making duʿā for you all 🤲🏼🩵

Today is International Self-care day. Our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ has taught us many ways to take care of ourselves, physically, mentally, and spiritually. He ﷺ said: “There are two blessings that many people are deceived into losing: health and free time.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

Today is a reminder to take care of what Allāh ﷻ has given and entrusted in us, our bodies, minds, hearts, and souls.

One of the greatest gifts of Jumuʿah is the opportunity to draw closer to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ through abundant ṣalawāt. Every prayer we send upon him is a testimony of our love, gratitude, and hope to be in his blessed company in the Hereafter. Our beloved Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, among the best of your days is Friday, so increase your prayers upon me on it, for your prayers are presented to me.” The Companions asked, “O Messenger of Allāh, how will our prayers be presented to you after you have passed away?” He replied: “Indeed, Allāh has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets.” (Sunan Abī Dāwūd)

He ﷺ also said: “The closest of people to me on the Day of Resurrection are those who send the most ṣalawāt upon me.” (Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī) And he ﷺ said: “There is no one who sends salām upon me except that Allāh returns my soul to me so that I may return his salām.”(Sunan Abī Dāwūd)

‎اللهم صل وسلم وبارك على نبينا محمد ﷺ

May Allāh ﷻ fill our hearts with true love for His Beloved ﷺ, make us constant in sending ṣalawāt upon him, allow us to follow his Sunnah inwardly and outwardly, gather us under his banner on the Day of Judgment, grant us a drink from his blessed ḥawḍ, honor us with his intercession, and bless us with his companionship in Jannat al-Firdaws, āmīn 🤲🏼💚

Jumuʿah is a weekly gift from Allāh ﷻ, a day filled with mercy, forgiveness, and opportunities to draw closer to Him.

Take a few moments today to renew your intention, increase your ṣalawāt upon our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, recite Sūrah al-Kahf, give in charity, make abundant duʿāʾ, and seek the special hour in which supplications are accepted.

May Allāh ﷻ allow us to honor this blessed day as it deserves and accept every act of worship from us. O Allāh, make this Jumuʿah a light for our hearts, forgiveness for our sins, and a source of blessing in our lives and sustenance. Accept our prayers, supplications, and charity. Enable us to abundantly send blessings upon Your Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ. Grant us a share of every good during the Hour of Acceptance, protect us from every evil, and forgive us, our parents, and all the believing men and women, āmīn 🤲🏼

Mark your calendars the White Days (Ayyām al-Bīḍ) are almost here. The Prophet ﷺ regularly encouraged fasting on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of every lunar month. These blessed days are an easy Sunnah to revive and a beautiful opportunity to draw closer to Allāh ﷻ.

The reward is immense because every good deed is multiplied tenfold. Fasting three days each month is therefore rewarded like fasting thirty days, and continuing this practice throughout the year is like fasting the whole year.
