Mrs. Warren was Leigha’s kindergarten teacher and she is the teacher who inspired Leigha to want to be a teacher in the first place! They reunited when Leigha was assigned to Mrs. Warren’s classroom for her student teaching placement this year! ❤️Congratulations Leigha!🖤 We are so proud of you! 🌪️

Shout out to one of our future educators, Tahliyah, as she served as a running buddy at the Girls on the Run Lancaster 5K yesterday!
What a full-circle moment this week has been. 💛 Our seniors are officially wrapping up their final week of student teaching in the CTE Education Pathway and what a journey it’s been.
From lesson planning and classroom management to building relationships and finding their teacher voice, they’ve done so much more than “learn how to teach.” They’ve shown up for students, created spaces of belonging, and inspired young learners in ways that will last far beyond their time in the classroom.
Today, Ross Elementary honored our student teachers with a beautiful graduation send-off, and it was truly unforgettable. You could feel the pride, the gratitude, and the impact these future educators have already made.
The future of education is in good hands, and it starts right here . 🍎✨

Last week three of us future educators, Flower, Nyairrah, and Selena, lead a professional development session for teachers entitled Creating a Sense of Belonging in the Classroom. We taught belonging through 2 of our favorite MAX Teaching Instructional Strategies… Idea Survivor and Hexagonal Thinking. We learned a lot about what it takes to run a session, how to read the room, how to adjust for our audience, and that after a long day of teaching 4 sessions we were exhausted! It was a good exhaustion and we are already looking forward to next year! Did you attend our session? What did you think?
