Field day volunteer was my only job this morning and I loved being able to spend it with my girl!! 🥳

Working from home (with littles) is hard, but this is why it is worth every late night, early morning, Saturday market, email, order, and party! 🫶💜

Some days hit different than others and the weight of the world sits a little heavier on our shoulders.

While business may be busy, motherhood is a constant effort to care, understand, predict, anticipate, mediate, facilitate, (mediate again), and love our children into the person they are created to be. And that friends is the most important and most exhausting work we will ever do. 🫶

So here’s to the mamas wrangling the terrible twos, navigating the emotions of the 6 going 16yo, negotiating the wild 4 out of the tree, and holding the world together one cup of coffee at a time…

May this Mother’s Day weekend bring moments of peace and quiet reflection. Whether it’s watching the sunset with your kids or running to target along and sitting in the parking lot a little tooooo long before going home. Find the quiet to help remind you why you love and cherish the noise. 💕

The days are long(er) but the years are short. May we find the joy and walk into tomorrow with a renewed appreciation for the gift of raising tiny, wild, smaller versions of ourselves. 🫶🤍

This was one for the books… not for the sales (while those are always nice) but for the whole experience from start to finish! 👏📖

This weekend was my first event with and it could not have been a more perfect way to meet the incredible community of vendors, faithful followers, and of course the beautiful town of Maytown! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who made the day amazing, for making our little bookshop feel so welcome and right at home. 📖💝

This was truly a one of a kind experience and I truly hope it is not the last of our new friendships with the shank shoppe crew! 🫶🤍
