🎶 Meet the 2026–2027 Buford High School Choir Leadership Team! ❤️💛

As we prepare for another exciting year, we're proud to introduce the student leaders who will help make our choir program a place of excellence, service, and community. These students have earned the trust of their peers through their dedication, leadership, and commitment to our choir family.

✨ Vice President: Landon Bryson
✨ Secretary: Raegan Whitaker
✨ Soprano Section Leader: Isabella Pritchard
✨ Alto Section Leader: Georgia Springs
✨ Baritone Section Leader: James Lingle

Together, these students will help lead rehearsals, mentor younger singers, encourage their peers, and continue building the positive culture that makes the Buford High School Choir so special.

We are also excited to begin another year under the direction of Ms. Hayward, who is entering her third year at Buford High School. During the past two years, our choir program has experienced tremendous growth and success, including:

🎭 Producing two musicals: The Addams Family and Six: Teen Edition
🏆 Earning placements at Music in the Parks Festival both years
🎼 Receiving Superior ratings at CPA and Solo & Ensemble
⭐ Receiving the SCMEA Outstanding Performance Award
🎤 Achieving record-breaking participation and success in All-State Choir and SC ACDA Honor Choir

While we're proud of these accomplishments, we're even more proud of the students behind them. Their hard work, passion, and commitment are what make this program truly special.

Here's to another year of beautiful music, meaningful friendships, and unforgettable memories. We can't wait to see what the 2026–2027 school year has in store!

At Tuesday night’s board meeting, our students were recognized for their accomplishments this year, including our Superior performance at CPA, receiving the State Outstanding Performance Award, and celebrating our incredible All-State participants ❤️💛

I am so proud of the dedication, discipline, and heart these students bring into the choir room every single day. Their commitment to excellence continues to push this program to new heights, and it is such a privilege to watch them grow not only as musicians, but as people.

Thank you to our administration, families, and community for continuing to support the arts and these amazing students. Buford Choir continues to represent maroon & gold with pride, and I cannot wait to see what’s ahead for this program. 🎶

Straight superiors. Record-breaking All-State numbers. Region Choir success. A year of excellence from start to finish.

Two years ago we talked about building a tradition of choral excellence. Now we’re maintaining one.

From first rehearsal in October to our final curtain… what a journey. 👑✨

Watching these girls grow, push themselves, support each other, and absolutely own that stage has been something special. This show demanded so much—and they rose to every single moment with strength, heart, and a whole lot of attitude.

So proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. 💛
