7th and 8th graders had a spiritual retreat day. We visited Tellman Hill Apple Orchard and then hiked Pondicherry. It was an incredible fall day. We had the opportunity to slow down, step away from assignments and distractions, and truly appreciate the beauty of God’s creation. Students took time to notice the little details that we often overlook. They also spent time journaling and doodling in their ELA notebooks, reflecting on their connection with God and ways they can grow closer to Him.

The 7th & 8th graders used the apples we picked last week at Tellman Hill Farm to make apple crisp with Mrs. Crane and got to enjoy the fruits of their labor. We also visited the George Fox Memorial Museum this week to create projects; stay tuned for these! We took advantage of the beautiful weather Thursday to write about how "glad we are to live in a world where there are Octobers." -Anne of Green Gables. We are feeling so blessed.
