Each graduation quilt that goes home fills my heart with that sweet and fresh excitement for the recipient - on the cusp of new, already nostalgic for the passing season.
I especially loved the variety in this guy’s shirts - athletics, service, and theatre events. It was a pleasure to incorporate them all into one balanced, cohesive piece that will hold those memories closely for years to come.
*This* is what we mean by deeply personal design that honors stories worth keeping.
Congratulations to this grad and family - the best is yet to come!
PS - that tennis pantograph 🤩👌

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my computerized longarm… it has helped me grow my business farther than I could have imagined. She’s the best, truly.
AND. Sitting with a quilt in its final stage, hand stitching meaningful details…. There really isn’t a more fulfilling step to the process.
In an ever-advancing world I couldn’t have fathomed, computers and technology make my work more polished, more efficient (ha! Sometimes?!?), and give me the opportunity to offer a lot to the finished quilt that I couldn’t otherwise… AND. The hand stitching step still fills my hand-made cup in an unmatched way. 🪡🧵✨

This afternoon, I had the absolute pleasure of sending this quilt home as a 21st birthday gift. There are so many dear memories and stories in every piece I was given, and it was a gift to meet Silas, and see him light up recalling each shirt and meaningful moment.
jerseys were the perfect addition as both jerseys and tshirts!
Bonus points for Silas - he loves Legos! Check out the coolest pantograph I have used to date! If you know, you know! And, as a real life mechanical engineer student he even asked to check out my longarm Q24 - kinda similar to a fancy engineering machine he uses too - a really neat connection!
Thank you for giving me the chance to get to know your family while working on this special keepsake! 🥰

Some quilts are memory keepers.
Some are storytelling pieces.
And every once in a while, one becomes a true work of art.
This LVC quilt client gave me complete creative freedom — no traditional t-shirt grid, no simple blocks. Every shirt was carefully cut, reworked, and transformed into custom quilt blocks that tell the story of years spent at Lebanon Valley College.
The result is layered, artistic, deeply personal, and honestly one of my favorite quilts to date. A beautiful testament to career filled with memories, growth, friendships, and hard work.
I’m always honored when families trust me not just to preserve these pieces, but to create something entirely unique from them - a piece that will carry your memories into the future with timeless style and warmth. ✨
and thank you for the creative joy in this piece!

There’s something especially meaningful about a graduation quilt that tells more than one story. 🏀🍎 and I get especially tender-hearted about pieces made for my alma mater
This one was created for a college graduate who spent years on the basketball court and will soon be stepping into a classroom of her own as a future teacher. Her quilt is filled with pieces from the seasons and moments that shaped her — and tucked into the back corner is a special teacher shirt, a quiet little nod to everything ahead.
The details matter because these quilts become more than keepsakes — they become a timeline of hard work, identity, community, and growth. Do you see the sweet basketball stitching throughout? So cool, right?!
It’s such an honor to turn years of memories into something tangible families can hold onto long after graduation day passes. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — and especially to the girls chasing big dreams on and off the court. 🤍

First grad quilt of the Class of 2026 season ✨
This one was extra special — not just because of the bold school pride for the Manheim Central School District Class of 2026, but because of the heart behind every detail. This graduate came with so much thoughtful input for his design, from meaningful fabrics to faith-filled embroidery woven into the quilt itself. I love when these quilts become more than a keepsake… they become a reflection of who someone is stepping into their next chapter.
Getting to create pieces like this for families will never feel ordinary to me. It’s an honor every single time to take shirts, memories, accomplishments, and beliefs and turn them into something that can be held onto for years to come.
Here’s to the first grad quilt of 2026 — and to the stories still waiting to be stitched ✂️🤍
