I was born a teacher. Truly. Leading Girl Scouts and Special Olympics before I was 12. I was a teacher first. Then I became a mom, and teaching, in the traditional classroom sense, took a pause for… well. 9 years. Meanwhile, sewing went from a hobby I loved to a part of the life I was building and the tradition and artisan craft I want to share with and pass on to our children.
I never imagined my life without teaching. I just didn’t know what finding my way back to it would look like.
So I created this next chapter for myself.
A chapter where I get to be a mom and a teacher, make things with my hands, build a business that feels like me, and share it all with my kids growing up alongside it.
It’s not the life I pictured exactly. It’s better in the way that it feels like mine. 🤍
