AI should support learning, not replace it.
A recent District Administration article, “AI Cannot Lead Your District. Now, Only People Can,” makes an important point: technology alone isn't an instructional strategy. The people, purpose, and decisions behind it are what turn technology into meaningful learning.
That closely reflects something we say often at InnevAto EDU: our course catalog is a tool. It isn't the end-all answer, and it doesn't replace teachers or the thoughtful learning experiences districts create for their students.
The same is true of the AI within our courses.
Our AI tools are intentionally integrated and contextual, designed to provide support within the learning experience when and where students need it. Much like accessibility tools, they're another layer of support. They aren't there to do the work for students, replace productive struggle, or replace the teacher.
Whether guiding a student through the writing process, providing additional practice and explanation, or supporting career exploration, the goal is to help students think, engage, and learn, not think for them.
Technology can expand what's possible. But people make it purposeful.
