We’re excited to be working with Niagara Falls School District as part of a larger effort to strengthen early literacy in the community!!
We recently brought The Reading Road Trip Live program into Abate Elementary, sharing the real story of how a student reader became an author, performer, and creator. The goal is simple: help students see reading as something that connects to real opportunities in their own lives.
This is part of a broader collaboration that includes the Niagara Falls Public Library and local leadership, helping connect students and families to reading both in school and at home.
We’re looking forward to more programs and continuing to build something that reaches beyond the classroom.
The City of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls City Schools, and the Niagara Falls Public Library are partnering on a new community literacy initiative designed to encourage reading, library engagement, and early literacy development among children and families.
Checkers The Inventor, a multimedia educational program featured in schools and libraries across the United States, is bringing a new performance- based learning experience to H.F. Abate Elementary School.
This Saturday, March 28th, at 1:30 PM, the Niagara Falls Public Library is hosting a community meet-and-greet that will help families foster literacy practices and support early childhood development.
The library event will be open to the public at no cost and will provide families with access to library resources, information on early literacy programs, and opportunities to apply for library cards.
