Creatures From The God Lagoon; A Sermon on Enchantment The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.
I honor connections, authentic conversations, and looking for God in all things. And coffee!

While I don't agree with everything, the spirit of the Post is what I believe in: hope and kindness
ON THE PALM OF YOUR HAND you write my name, O God.
Through the pages of creation, my life unfolds.
In the chambers of your heart, I have a home, O God,
where every cry is heard, every tear seen,
every thanks
whispered in the dark or sung to the morning
is known to you.
And still, I am slow to thank, to ask, to trust.
O God, who is great and good,
help me to pray.
Amen.

The Awkward Season: Prayers for Lent
Today’s Reflection
God’s peace to you in the twilight,
in the long winter night.
God’s comfort to you in the sadness,
in the mournful places of your soul.
God’s courage to you in your weakness,
facing turmoil, facing trial.
God’s love to you in your pain,
in the sadness of the small one who weeps inside of you.
God’s presence to you in your loneliness,
in the dark, empty corners of your heart.
God’s peace, God’s comfort, God’s love,
God’s blessing be yours.

Crossroads and choices, now is the time to decide which path will lead to the garden and more healthy life choices. One just doesn't wait until Midsummer and think about growing fresh produce for a salad.

"In the one unmediated presence of God, we cannot help, but be utterly transformed by the experience. we must also be transformed by the bright life-changing appearance of God. When we see the light of God shining in a dark place, some of us run in fear, others tremble, unable to move, still other stand, in awe of God's glory. The same God who transformed Jesus Christ is at work in us. We will never be the same. "Bethany Barnett the upper room Disciplines
