Hi, I’m Colleen, the founder of Daisy Willow 🌼
Twelve years ago, I graduated with my early childhood education degree and one dream: to spend my career with little ones. Almost everyone told me the same thing. That’s a job, not a career.
So I taught in public schools for seven years. Then I had my son, went back to work at three and a half months postpartum, and couldn’t find the kind of care I believed in for him. I planned Daisy Willow during my pumping breaks. I met my very first family in a coffee shop because my space didn’t have a door handle yet.
That in-home program has been full since the day it opened. And this November, the dream gets its building: Daisy Willow Early Learning, a center with room for 70 children to wonder, right here in Lancaster.
I’m not building it alone. Meet Cristin, our assistant director [swipe], who you’ll be seeing a lot of around here.
Together we’re building the village we always wished existed.
