Angel Romero is a well known h**pcreter who also hosts an alter-ego as Angel de Paz, a Luchador wrestler and promoter in Fort Dodge. Angel is a h**p-lime craftsman and also a teacher, who helped build the H**p Casita traveling prototype with students at Kansas State University in 2023.

“In a groundbreaking move this August, a Euro-based h**p block company began its first US construction project in Wildwood, GA.
H**pBLOCK USA marked dual milestones by commencing its first build and hosting the first H**pBLOCK Master Builder training program in the United States.

As a fervent advocate for h**p in construction, I am proud to say I helped build the first wall of H**pBLOCK USA’s first project in the United States.
The demand for H**pBLOCK International’s product has surged throughout the USA, founder Johan Tijssen told H**pBuild Mag. Developers, h**p processors, Native American tribes, and affordable housing organizations have reached out to the company, Tijssen said.

The blocks are currently only manufactured in France. However, this should change soon.
Tijssen plans to meet with investors to set up three new manufacturing facilities in the USA. They aim to open the first factory within two years, contingent upon raising $8 million. “The idea of making homes that would last and be healthy was a no-brainer,” said Robert “Deuce” Larsen, the tribal council president.
“We need to build capacity in the community and show that it can be an income stream.”

That one of the smallest tribes in the country, in terms of population and land in trust, is leading the national charge on an integrated h**pcrete operation is no mean feat, seeing that virtually no one in the community had experience with either farming or construction before the five-man team was assembled earlier last year.

H**p was the earliest plant cultivated for textile fiber. Archaeologists found a remnant of h**p cloth in ancient Mesopotamia (currently Iran and Iraq) which dates back to 8,000 BC. H**p is also believed to be the oldest example of human industry. In the Lu Shi, a Chinese work of the Sung dynasty (500 AD), we find reference to the Emperor Shen Nung (28th century BC) who taught his people to cultivate h**p for cloth. It is believed that h**p made it to Europe in approximately 1,200 BC. From there, it spread throughout the ancient world.

According to the February 1938 issue of Popular Mechanics (written early 1937), h**p was then on the verge of becoming “the billion-dollar crop.” However, in September 1937, the United States government, under the influence of the lobbying of synthetic textile companies (like DuPont) and several other powerful groups who saw h**p as a big threat to their businesses, proposed prohibitive tax laws, and levied an occupational excise tax upon h**p dealers. Later that year h**p production was banned altogether. The Canadian government, following the American lead, prohibited production under the O***m and Narcotics Act on August 1, 1938. Time to

Our Educational Platform is the most important aspect of the National IHC.
Scientists face an enormous challenge in mapping the body. Binding sites that accept cannabis ingredients, for example, can sometimes form complexes with other receptors, merging their two separate sets of effects. A new discovery connects the cannabinoid 1 receptor with a different receptor that, in part, controls dopamine during Parkinson’s Disease. The complex occurs between CB1 receptors and the angiotensin receptor — AT2.
