What: This is an information page for the annual Lamar Community Thanksgiving Day event that we will be hosting in Lamar, CO. Where: The Hope center 200 North 10th St. Lamar, CO 81052 (Lincoln Elementary School). Purpose: Our purpose is to welcome anyone and everyone in Lamar, CO community, and surrounding area, to come and enjoy a FREE Thanksgiving meal that will be readily available on Thanks

giving Day. We extend this invitation out to people who are alone for the holiday, who have to work, who are passing through on highway 287 (truckers/travelers), and those who may not afford a Thanksgiving meal. If you have any questions, please feel free to message us and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Excited to serve you on our 9th year anniversary!

❤️ A HUGE Thank You to our incredible Lamar community! ❤️
On Thanksgiving Day friends, neighbors, and visitors filled The HOPE Center for our 10th annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon. Nobody spent the holiday alone or hungry.
This free home cooked meal included turkey, all the fixings, and the most amazing spread of pies you’ve ever seen!
This happened because of YOU:
Our amazing volunteers who cooked, served with big smiles, delivered meals to homebound neighbors, decorated, and cleaned.
Every family, individual, and business who donated turkeys, sides, desserts, money, and supplies Thank You!
We filled every plate and enjoyed community.
Thank You to the HOPE Center for opening your doors and giving us the perfect place to gather.
Together we served up to 250 meals in-house and delivered about 150 meals. “We see you, and we’re so happy to serve you.”
Lamar, this is what community looks like. Thank you for keeping this beautiful tradition alive for 10 years. 🦃🥧
