Hayes Elementary Adopt-a-Spot Welcome to the Hayes Adopt-a-Spot! Each year our spots are adopted, planted, & maintained by generous Hayes families, classes, staff, & community members.

It is a beautiful sight from May through October! Created & coordinated by Mia & Al Yost since 2014.

Since the very beginning of our spots, Mrs. Staskus has taken care of this end spot, which is the first spot you see when passing through. She has made it absolutely beautiful every year, taking such good care of it. She also planted bulbs, so that in the Spring we get a burst of color that greets us before the spots are planted. She takes care of her spot and her family spot all summer long. We are so grateful for you, Mrs. Staskus! Thank you for your support for all of these years. 💜💛💜

For the 7th year these wonderful kids have come to our spots to plant! They also spend a couple hours weeding, watering, and mulching! They are a huge help every year and we are beyond grateful. As always, the best part is that they are the kindest group of kids. 💜💛💜
