Don't wait until it's too late to find a lovely facility for your friend or family member. Many people think they can do caregiving. I assure you it's hard work. Let the professionals handle it. I would never place someone in a facility that I didn't like or thought to be inappropriate.

Remember to visit your loved ones at their facility during the holidays. They really look forward to it. Bring or take a Christmas picture to frame and put on their wall.

Don't risk the health and safety of your loved one. Place them in a facility where they will be safe, well fed, and have a social life. You won't be sorry. It's an adjustment, but you won't regret it.

When you find the proper establishment for your mom. Dad, grandpa, grandma, etc, get to know the caregivers. They are the ones that are there 24/7 taking care of your loved one.. You'll be glad you did.
