If your newborn is awake all night and sleeping all day…
you’re probably wondering what you’re doing wrong.

You’re not doing anything wrong.

Newborns aren’t born with day/ night rhythm.
Their bodies are still learning when to sleep - and when to be awake.

That’s why nights can feel so unpredictable, exhausting, and honestly a little defeating.

The good news?
This phase is normal - and it’s temporary.

Small, gentle cues during the day and night can help their rhythm start to shift over time. Not overnight, but gradually.

And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

We help families navigate these early weeks with calm, RN led support so you can feel more confident, more supported, and a little more rested.

Save this for the nights that feel long 🤍
Or send it to a new mom who needs to hear this

🩵Pregnant or Know Someone Who Is?🩷

Most parents spend months preparing the nursery…
but almost no one prepares for what it actually feels like when baby comes home.

The questions.
The exhaustion.
The constant “Am I doing this right?”

That’s where we come in.

We provide nurse-led pregnancy planning and postpartum support designed to help you feel ready—not reactive—when your baby arrives.

✔ What to expect in the first days and weeks
✔ How to handle sleep, feeding, and overwhelming moments
✔ What’s normal—and what’s not
✔ How to feel confident caring for your newborn

All care is provided by an experienced Perinatal RN with nearly a decade in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care—so you’re not guessing, you’re guided.

The difference isn’t just support. It’s preparation that actually carries into real life.

Start with a quick consultation where we’ll map out:
• What you should be preparing for (that most people miss)
• Your biggest concerns going into postpartum
• A clear plan so you don’t feel lost once baby is here

No pressure—just clarity and direction.

Newborn gas is common — and usually temporary. As a postpartum RN, I see how a few simple adjustments can bring big relief and calm for both baby and parent. Try these gentle steps at home: burp more often during feeds, use bicycle legs, try the colic hold, check latch, and offer a warm bath.

If your baby seems uncomfortable after every feed, arches their back, or cries for long stretches, it could be more than routine gas. I offer in-home, evidence-informed support in San Diego and nearby communities to observe feeds, suggest practical changes, and give you confidence to care for your newborn.

You're not alone — small changes often make a big difference. Want personalized help? Click to read more or book a visit: https://wix.to/Uulz8nM

Gas is common in newborns and can cause surprising discomfort. Learn why newborns become gassy, simple techniques that help relieve gas quickly, and when persistent symptoms may signal reflux, feeding issues, or something more.

Newborn crying can overwhelm even the calmest parent. When it feels like nothing is working, it helps to have a simple reset plan.

Try the S.T.O.P. Method:

S- skin to skin
Hold your baby against your chest. Your warmth, heartbeat, and smell help regulate their nervous system.

T- take them outside
A change of environment can work wonders. Fresh air, natural light, and new sounds often interrupt the crying cycle.m; even if it’s walking onto your front porch.

O- offer a warm bath.
Warm water mimics the womb, can relax tight muscles, and soothe an overstimulated baby.

P- Pause & breathe
Place baby safely where baby sleeps & take a few minutes to reset yourself. A calm parent is one of the most powerful calming tools a baby has.

Crying often peaks around 6-8 weeks, and even healthy babies can cry for hours a day. Having a simple plan can make those moments feel manageable.

You’re not doing anything wrong. You’re learning your baby 🤍

🩷“Is this normal?” is the most common postpartum question.🩵

Not everything uncomfortable is dangerous.
And not everything “common” is harmless.

Nurses are trained to separate:
• Normal recovery from warning signs
• Adjustment from red flags
• Exhaustion from burnout or mood disorders

That distinction changes outcomes.

You deserve informed support from a trusted source 🤍

Ever leave the hospital more confused than when you arrived?

Postpartum instructions are often rushed, vague, or overwhelming.

A nurse understands:
• Medical terminology
• Medication safety
• What providers mean vs what parents hear

We help parents translate medical advice into real-life decisions—without fear or overreaction.

Because clarity builds confidence.

Reassurance is comforting. Assessment is protective.

Doulas are incredible at normalizing the postpartum experience.
Nurses are trained to recognize when something isn’t normal—before it becomes a crisis.

That means:
• Earlier intervention
• Fewer late-night panic spirals
• More confident decision-making

Support shouldn’t just feel good—it should keep you safe.

Save this for your postpartum planning
