A special "THANK YOU" to the Lakeside community for hosting the Lakeside TNT Day yesterday. They do a great job of making the mentees and mentors feel welcomed and provide a fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the day. Mentees received a towel and water bottle while mentors received a bag and waterbottle plus 2 tickets to visit again this summer. All enjoyed a pizza lunch and were able to select from a wide arrange of activities (swimming, shuffleboard, miniature golf, arts and crafts, pond boat making, youth orchestra concert).

Top 20 Banquet

Congratulations to our high school students who earned the academic Top 20 awards. Mr. Jonathan Winn from Chick-fil-A gave a wonderful presentation. He informed students that "A good name is to be more desired than great riches." To obtain that they need to build and maintain TRUST, intentionally and willfully CARE for others, and create and foster good RELATIONSHIPS.

Last night I had the pleasure of enjoying an evening with my mentee and other mentees and mentors in Ottawa County's TNT Mentor Program. Thank you Mentors for making a difference in the lives of our students and their future.
