Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Homeschool parents, you wear more hats than any teacher handbook could have prepared you for: instructor, curriculum director, recess monitor, lunch lady, and occasionally student (because somehow they always ask the question you don't know the answer to).

It's not always glamorous, but it's real, it's brave, and it matters more than you know. HSLDA is grateful to be in your corner all 365 days of the school year!

As we near the end of the public school calendar year, more and more families are making the decision to pull their kids out to homeschool next year.

I have been homeschooling for 5 years and I STILL get overwhelmed with the amount of curriculum options, scheduling ideas, co-op opportunities, etc. There’s honestly just too much information out there and sometimes I feel like it’d be better if we had FEWER options to consider!

Keep it simple. Worry about the intricate details later as you find your footing in your homeschool journey. Try to block out the noise and remember why you’re doing this.

Stick to the basics ❤️

What a Beautiful Sunday! Families came together & Worshipped the Lord! We shared the Word! Prayed for each other!! ( at Pioneer Park, Zolfo Springs, FL!)

And then we got to have Fun exploring Creative Skills with Sea glass! The kids created Hearts with sea glass and wrote “Jesus loves you!” & then each one created their own unique design!
Mr. Matt even explored making some Survival Bracelets with some of the older youth!

What a Blessing!!! God is good!!

Amazing what God does with a “Yes” and the families and people He connects you with along the way!! We were beyond Blessed to have first connected with the Redmon Family ( a Worship Ministry & Golf RV Family ) who we met back in December 2025 and then God kept putting us back together at each Campground we visited! And then meeting the Sanchez Family ( Family of 7) at our 1st Church Service we all did!( who are also doing Ministry Life via their RV!) and so many New Families each week we met all doing the RV life while Homeschooling!

So grateful for this Season of Loving Jesus with these Beautiful Families we have met RVing!!
