CareerSource Polk Young Leaders

The CareerSource Polk Young Leaders program provides academic support and career opportunities to youth ages 16 to 24 who reside in Polk County.

OFFICE HOURS
Winter Haven Location: Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Lakeland Location: Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m - 4:00 p.m. The CareerSource Polk Young Leaders program provides individualized services to help young adults, ages 16-24, gain marketable skills that will help them enter the workforce. Services include: one-on-one assistance for job seekers wi

th resumes, interviewing, job search and career planning; GED remediation and instruction; assistance with high school graduation; preparing a career plan with a career coach; specialized training opportunities. Our Summer Youth Internship Program is off to a great start! Interns placed at the Boys & Girls Club of Polk County have completed all of their required site-specific training, including child safety, mandatory reporting, trauma-informed practices, and Boys & Girls Club orientation, and they're ready to make a difference this summer. This week we're spotlighting Anjoulie Rodriguez, who is interning at the South Ridge/Lake Wales Unit!
