The GJ Bass Team competed in the Florida Elite Anglers State Championship on Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Georgia, on June 6–7. Ella Ready and Sarah Rising finished in 10th place with 28.70 lbs. Sarah Rising was also awarded a $1,000 scholarship from FEA Legacy and the Central Florida Trust. Bryan Castro and Preston Nance finished in 18th place with 22.40 lbs. Bryan Castro reeled in a 7.72 lb. bass, which led the "big bass" standings on day one.

Congratulations to our anglers for your hard work this season and for making it to States! Your passion, perseverance, and dedication have truly paid off, and we are proud of your incredible achievements. We extend our deepest gratitude to our sponsors, captains, and supporters; your contributions were the foundation of our success this season.
