I love my comfy chair but wanted to spruce it up a little. I love the way it turned out. I can't wait to take it back to school next year.

Tomorrow is dress up like a teacher day. My son is so excited to wear his new cheesy teacher shirt.

My class has grown so much this year. Not only in numbers but they are blowing me away with how much they have learned. I'm working on updating my boards. Now that we are working on the skeletal system in a couple of my classes. I have Skully in the back of my room and his magnetic twin up front.

We are starting a unit on rocks this week. I'm pretty excited about my little haul from the market today. The guy heard I was a teacher and threw in a bunch of cool rocks and fossils.

It doesn't look like much now, but next week this will be so much more. This is part of my classes first Biology lab next week. We will be scientist collecting plants, identifying them, and pressing them to create a catalogue. I am so excited to start the year off exploring.
