Meet Julie. Co-Author and Creator of Unbooked.

With 16 years in education and 4 years of curriculum writing and content making skills, Julie is the perfect candidate to write your curriculum. A passion for teaching and education others comes naturally to Julie and we are thrilled to be partnering with Julie to release Unbooked soon!
Julie is also a wife and mother and in her free time she loves to spend time on a beach or playing a game with her boys (the big one she married and the little one she calls son).

Meet Christine. Co-Author and Creator of Unbooked.

Christine has been working for the local school district for nearly 20 years. She humbly started as a para-educator and worked through college to graduate and become a rockstar primary teacher. Her expertise in the Kindergarten and First grade areas are unparalleled! She brings passion, joy and so much wisdom to Unbooked!
Not only is Christine a teacher but she is also a wife and mother. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family, which usually involves a specific costume or outfit of the day! As it should, in true “kinder spirit”!

Today we will be introducing the Unbooked team and telling you more about why we chose to start Unbooked!
Over the next few days we will be rolling out book, worksheet and lesson plan samples and showcasing our virtual classrooms. We are excited to bring Unbooked to homeschool families and teachers alike!

As you are getting ready to go back to school, consider "Unbooked" to be your one stop shop for all ELA assignments, work and curriculum!

Here is why:
We have curriculum to suit all ranges of abilities! My best friend and I have over 20 years teaching experience together and we decided together to write Unbooked (our curriculum) for students seeking a non traditional education because we see a big value in homeschool!
There are two options for our curriculum:
1. Teacher-Directed: same curriculum but rolled out weekly in a google classroom format which allows for technology integration and field trips set up for you that matches the curriculum.
2. Parent-Directed: same curriculum with suggested work schedule, field trips and videos. Work is supplied that can be printed and completed or completed online at your discretion.

Each week is themed and incorporates writing, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension.

Additionally, we provide a school readiness assessment that allows you to track your child progress so that you know when your child is ready to move past a specific letter, sound, word.

Finally, our curriculum is geared towards being 9 weeks long versus monthly. Which means you only need to purchase 4x per year instead of 10x (once for each month) while we also remain competitive in price and have discounts for purchasing the whole year.
-$55 per quarter -$105 per semester -$200 for the year.

Last but not least, we are both licensed Florida educators that would be happy to do the end of school year evaluation.
