Just your friendly neighborhood (milk)weed dealer here. How to make sure your supply is the good stuff:
1. Check your strain- common names can get mixed up, checking the scientific name is the best way to ensure you're getting real Florida native milkweed. Popular native milkweeds you'll find for sale include tuberosa, perennis, and incarnata.
2. Make sure its not laced- Double check, no pesticides please. Aphids are a little annoying but they're cool so dont stress about them hanging out- the lady bug gang will take care if them anyways.
3. When in doubt, go to your nearest trusted source. FNPS, FANN, or your closest native nursery can hook you up with the good stuff 😉
