The Great Owlology sculpture class this past weekend was a HOOT! 🦉 This was 3 days of in-depth instruction to sculpt their own owl-whimsical, realistic, quirky, functional… any style they wanted. And guess HOO did a great job? Absolutely everyone! The smiles alone should tell you what an awesome time we had 🙌

The hustle and bustle of the studio makes everyday here fun and interesting! The chatter, laughter, and personalities just bring out more beauty in the pottery itself. Every piece makes sense for every person🫶 Watching the works in progress evolve and grow is one of the best parts of this community 🤩
2 big sculpts fresh out of the kiln 🔥 We are obsessed with how our members have really been creating such hot builds🥵 Just by looking at everyone’s pieces all around the studio, we can really see all of the time spent building, detailing, smoothing, and glazing… and yes, we are impressed ☺️

We spent this past weekend teaching, learning, and building a Nature Face Pot🌸🌝🪴& the greatest group of people created their own one-of-a-kind pieces! Imagine the plants that will grow out of these beauties😍 or, if plants aren’t their thing, the pots are open and functional for anything else they may want… that’s what we call a successful class😎

Another phenomenal sculpture came out of our kiln- we have been on a roll! This piece was created by our throwing instructor, Leo🦁. He has been making tons of progress and finishing up some sculptures that he’s been working on for months. And the final results are always brilliant! He sculpted these hands while using his own as a reference, which really helps portray the meaning behind his art. Plus, the boat is a separate piece that can be lifted off of the main sculpt- all of these details make the total project truly unique and impressive 😍 It’s an honor to see this come out of the kiln!
