📢 As partners finalize advocacy efforts ahead of next week’s Leaders’ Summit, PMNCH has developed a short advocacy brief highlighting key recommendations to protect and advance investments in women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health and sexual and reproductive health and rights ( ).
At a time of growing funding constraints, the brief calls on G7 leaders to safeguard financing, defend SRHR, invest in adolescents, and prioritize countries facing the highest burden of maternal and child mortality.
We hope this resource supports coordinated advocacy efforts in the lead-up to the Summit.

The Right to Contraception in the United States
Contraception in the United States is recognized as an essential component of health care and a fundamental right that is widely supported and has been upheld by policymakers and courts for decades. The US Supreme Court established a right for married couples to use contraceptives in 1965 and expanded that right in 1972 to single people, further emphasizing the value and necessity of contraceptive access for an individual’s health and autonomy (see timeline).
