Exciting announcement: my page name has changed from Rosy Lotus Photography to Rosy Lotus Studios! This is intended to signify my intention to expand my creative juices beyond photography, although photography is still a passion.
This page has been inactive for some time now. Those who know me well know that right around the time I launched Rosy Lotus Photography as a part time gig, I had a major job change. That combined with my duties as Jupiter High School Band photographer for the past four years did not leave me much time to do any other photography or art for that matter. What little photography I did do, I didn't promote here since I was not looking for more work! :) I had plenty to do and it was a true labor of love. Then came the Harlequin show posters and those didn't need much promoting either! I was too busy making posters to spend time here on Facebook promoting them.
So now I find myself with a tiny bit of time and the wish to expand my creative activities. Last summer I did some traditional shibori dyeing with indigo and my pieces flew out the door of Kula Yoga Shala. Now I'd like to promote my shibori and other fabric arts here on Facebook. I don't have much to show at the moment, but I'm going to get it started now, because when else?
