We're ending our spring 2026 commencement keynote speakers series with words of wisdom from our graduates' special day.
At our 7 p.m. ceremony, Florida Rep. Anne Gerwig encouraged graduates to think beyond career success and consider the impact they can have on others.
“Education is not just a pathway to a better job — it is a tool that allows you to build a better life, not just for yourself, but for others,” Gerwig said.
As our graduates begin their next chapter, we hope they'll carry this message with them and continue making a difference in their communities.

How it started ➡️ How it's going
"The foundation built at Palm Beach State College, the confidence, the conviction, and the commitment to public service, is something I carry with me every single day," said former PBSC Student Trustee Ryan Steeghs.
