Our NextGEO Summer Academy trainees spent the day exploring innovation, entrepreneurship, and geospatial technology during an incredible field trip to T-REX!

Experiences like these connect classroom learning to real world opportunities—allowing our trainees to see firsthand the careers, technologies, and organizations shaping the future of the American workforce.

One of the foundational concepts of NextGEO Summer Academy is training students in the fundamentals of geographic information systems (GIS). Graduates of our program leave with skills in programs like ArcGIS, competencies in how these technologies work, and an understanding of how they're used all around us, all of the time.

While NextGEO Academy emphasizes the use of GIS in intelligence tradecraft, these systems are used in any number of fields across disciplines. Consequently, mastering them opens the door to a multitude of opportunities.
