CampSPIRE was honored to welcome our special guests from Mentoring!

Today, campers learned about the important connection between safety and peace. Our guests and campers shared in a round table discussion about how creating safe neighborhoods helps families, children, and communities thrive. When we work together to keep our communities safe, we create an environment where everyone can experience greater peace. We will be continuing this discussion in the upcoming weeks to develop a plan of action for our local leaders.

At CampSPIRE, we are helping students understand that peace begins within us and extends to our homes, schools, and neighborhoods. Thank you to KOP Mentoring for investing in our campers and encouraging them to become positive leaders in their communities!

This week at CampSPIRE, our campers learned that true peace comes from God and that through Jesus, He has given us His peace. When we embrace that peace, we can help create peace in the world around us.

One of the tools God has given us to express and create peace is art. During our Peaceful Painting session with Kendall, campers explored creativity, self-expression, and the beauty of bringing calm and joy to others through their artwork.

At 1251 Learning Essentials Academy’s CampSPIRE, we’re helping students learn, lead, serve, create, and grow in faith every day!

CampSPIRE, we believe learning should be:

* Personalized – Technology adapts instruction to each student’s needs.
* Hands-On – Math games make practice meaningful and fun.
* Collaborative – Students learn by discussing strategies and supporting one another.
* Growth-Focused – Every camper is challenged to improve from their own starting point.

Today’s stations included:

* Individualized digital math practice
* Card games reinforcing addition, multiplication, number patterns, and strategic thinking
* Independent and partner problem-solving
* Teacher-guided support and encouragement
